Hyman’s legal expertise has been recognized in the report every year for over 20 years. This is the eighth consecutive year Brimer, a partner at the firm, has been included in the Best Lawyers list.
Brimer is the practice group lead for the creditors’ rights practice area as well as the litigation practice area. Her over 25 years of experience spans all phases of bankruptcy and tax planning, including tax preparation, audits and other areas of tax law. She also well-regarded for skill with resolving tax collection disputes, such as issues with levies and liens and payment plans with federal, state and local taxing authorities.
Hyman serves on the Zoning and Land Use Committee of the State Bar of Michigan. He has been advising and representing developers, property owners, and individual clients in zoning and land use cases for over thirty years. He has also represented industry and homeowners’ associations and counselled several municipalities on zoning and land use matters. He has played an integral role in numerous zoning and environmental cases in Michigan courts, and participated in several cases before the Michigan Supreme Court.
