Tony Cimini’s practice focuses on representing distressed companies in evaluating out of court options and workouts, negotiating with lenders and creditors and Chapter 11, Subchapter V bankruptcy representation. Tony also assists clients with corporate litigation, tax and probate controversies, and federal and state regulatory controversies. Tony’s practice extends to banking and finance matters, reviewing and drafting loan documents, real estate transactions, and corporate formation and dissolution.
Prior to joining Strobl Sharp PLLC as an associate attorney, Tony served as a law clerk for Judge Jennifer Faunce at the Macomb County Circuit Court. During his clerkship, Tony drafted a summary disposition opinion regarding a threshold injury claim under Michigan PIP insurance liability. While studying at the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law, Tony served as Executive Editor of Inside Articles on Law Review, was a two-year member of the Moot Court Board of Advocates, and was a teaching assistant. Prior to entering the law field, Tony worked in education, both at the high-school and collegiate level, was a graduate research assistant in molecular biology, and most recently worked in community social work programs.
