Employment Law:

Area of law relating to the treatment of employees with regards to hiring and retention. Every aspect of employment is included in this area of law except for the negotiation of collective bargaining contracts. The following are some examples of employment related issues that this office handles:

Employment Discrimination:

The unfair treatment of an employee based on race, gender, national origin, religion, age, or disability. This usually takes the form of some adverse action such as failure to promote, suspension, demotion, or termination. Discrimination may also be in the form of harassment whether verbal or physical. Discrimination can also occur when an employer fails to reasonably accommodate an employee with a qualifying disability.   • Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) Complaints
  • Court Litigation
